A 14-year-old boy who was critically injured after being struck by a bus in Dayton has died.
The family of Brantley Conner confirms he died in an update on GoFundMe.
“Brantley fought with everything he had. Words cannot express the depth of pain our family is feeling right now as we process the loss of such a bright, kind, and deeply loved young boy whose life was taken far too soon,” his family said.
Brantley was left critically injured after being struck by a bus in a hit-and-run crash last Friday near U.S. Highway 90 eastbound and Stilson Road.
70-year-old Ricky Eugene Cherry, a Dayton ISD bus driver, was arrested following an investigation into the crash.
